CSX D790 exits the tunnel at Harpers Ferry and enters the Shenandoah Sub for work in the valley. Passing lower town affords the pedestrians on the bridge a close up view.
2680 has been a frequent visitor to Lansdale in recent years. Not wanting this loco to be left out of the naming craze, someone dubbed this engine the "Spirit of Lansdale".
2680 rests just north of the steel structure that signifies the northern limit of electrified territory on the former Reading RR Bethlehem Branch. The substaion is to the left of the locomotive.
